 Safety Patrol

The Safety Patrol Club consists of second grade students who are working hard to promote a positive and safe environment for the students of South School. Safety Patrol monitors can be spotted throughout the school wearing their yellow safety patrol vests while students enter and leave the building each day. Safety Patrol Students share the responsibilities of hallway monitor, carline monitor and bus monitor. They help South School students who may need assistance finding a room or teacher. They also remind students to walk and use quiet voices in the hallways. The Safety Patrol Monitors are very proud of their new roles and wear their vests with pride.

 Music Club

Grab your dancing shoes and warm up your voices for the South School Music Club! During each of the 3 sessions students focus on learning folk dances from around the world, developing good singing technique, and playing a variety of percussion instruments. Music Club also helps to improve note reading skills and explores the music of many cultures. This club meets once a week and is open to all students in first and second grade.
