Friday, September 30th is a Teacher Institute Day and non-attendance day for students. Each district staff member will participate in professional development opportunities during this day. There is also no school on Monday, October 3rd. Enjoy the long weekend as a family and we look forward to seeing our students return on Tuesday, October 4th.
All children in kindergarten, sixth grade and new to the district must provide the school with documentation of a completed health exam within 1 year prior to the start of the school year. Students entering Kindergarten, sixth grade, or ninth grade are required to show proof of receiving two doses of chickenpox vaccine (varicella). All forms must be turned in by October 17th. Download the HEALTH EXAM form here. Please call your school nurse with any specific questions.
The District received the second round of water quality testing results and we are pleased to share that all drinking sources, including water fountains, nurse office sinks, and kitchen sinks now function with no detectable level of lead. Please read the District 35 letter for the full details of our update. We remain committed to ensuring that our schools are a safe and healthy environment for your children and our staff members. Please do not hesitate to contact us with any additional questions.
