Music In Our Schools

On Thursday, March 5th Central School helped to launch Music in Our Schools Month with an evening concert in Misner Auditorium. In District 35, our children are given musical experiences beginning in kindergarten and continuing through eighth grade. Through the years, students develop musical skills, knowledge, understanding, and attitudes that will benefit them throughout their lives. The objective of our music program is to engage each child in a variety of musical experiences. These experiences provide the foundation for each child to develop a love and appreciation of music as a medium for expression, creative play and personal achievement.
