Meet Mrs. Stalter
My name is Mrs. Jill Stalter and I will serve as the new school librarian guiding, mentoring, and facilitating your child’s curiosity and love of reading this year in the Crawford Learning Center. I can not be more excited for this opportunity!
I have spent the last 11 years teaching. I taught fives years in 2nd grade in the Glencoe schools. After earning my a dual Bachelor’s in Elementary Education and Special Education, I went on to earn a Master’s Degree in Special Education. In June of 2019, I completed my second Master’s Degree in Literacy. It was there that I discovered my desire to be a school librarian and I have worked this past year on getting my certification.
My husband and I live in Elmhurst and just celebrated our eleventh wedding anniversary! We love taking our dog, Gus, on walks. In my spare time enjoy traveling, reading, playing word games, and spending time with my nieces.
The school year is quickly approaching and I look forward to working with you to make it a GREAT one!
