Mindfulness

This month, your child will participate in a mindfulness workshop led by Lani Gerszonovicz from Banner Day Camp.  In the sessions, students will practice breathing and mindfulness techniques that increase awareness and are naturally soothing.  Students will learn tools to improve concentration and become more focused.  Ask your child what they learned (see attachment).  Kids love sharing these calming yet empowering techniques!
