Getting to and from School

We kindly ask for your  cooperation in preserving the safety of our carline. We that ask you – or any adult utilizing the carline – abide by these rules to avoid an accident with a child. 

• Students must exit the car on the curbside. We understand carseats and boosters might interfere with a child’s ability to exit curbside. If exiting onto the street is necessary, parents must park and escort their child safely across the street. 
• If a parent or caregiver needs to exit the car at any point, you must park your car. 
• Please be patient and wait in the carline which follows the following pattern:  
  • Enter traveling east on Madison Ave. and turn south on Linden Ave.
  • Do not turn into the carline from Harbor Street. If you enter on Harbor Street, you must circle around to Madison Ave. and enter the carline there.
• Have your children ready with coats, materials, gloves, etc. This helps us speed up the process.  We need everyone’s help to keep our children, families, and teachers safe.

Please no dogs on the South School property for the safety of all students and staff.
